- This role will be working closely with the commercial team to manage the voyage execution for the specific trades. The role would be reporting into the Finance and Business Control Manager.**Job Role**

Some of the key responsibilities include- Ensuring compliance against agreed working practices in all systems supporting the Voyage Execution process, including the financial business processes of Voyage Estimation, Contract to Cash and Purchase to Pay
- Ensuring that all voyage related data is accurate, valid and complete in a timely manner throughout the Voyage Execution.
- Participating in developing, documenting and implementing best Voyage Execution Management (VEM) practices worldwide, including training.
- Ensure freight invoices are issued correctly and on a timely manner
- Ensure customer payments are received on time
- Verify and release Adjusted Voyage Estimate
- Verify and release Corrected Voyage Estimate
- Verify and agree Final Voyage Estimate
- Voyage closure
- Ensure Final DA (Disbursement Account) are processed correctly and on a timely manner
- Ensure laytime calculations are processed on a timely manner
- Ensure the quality of the voyage related data throughout the voyage execution process
- Ensure master files are updated
- Analysis and preparing financial reporting for the trade, including the Monthly Trade Report
- Participating and preparing overviews for the Monthly Trade Review Meeting (discrepancy meeting)
- Ensure quarterly forecasts are prepared and stored in the system
- Ensure annual budget numbers are prepared and stored in the system
- Train the team members in the systems supporting the voyage execution
- Train the team member to comply to all steps in the processes
- Support the Team leader in the Monthly Financial Review preparation and presentation
- Support the internal and external auditors with trade numbers and information
- Contribute to continuous improvement of processes and systems

**Job Requirement**
- Bachelor in Accountancy or Financial Accounting or related qualification
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in maritime accounting
- Deep understanding of business systems and processes.
- Excellent proficiency of numeracy and IT skills
- Self-starter and collaborative team-player
- Strong problem solver and fire for success
