Johnson & Johnson is currently seeking an Innovative Medicine Trade Controls Excellence Senior Specialist to join our Trade Coontrols Excellence APAC team.

**About the Department: IM Trade Controls Excellence**

Our Innovative Medicine trade control program aims to reduce compliance risk by proactively and strategically identifying and remediating risk areas related to Innovative Medicine imports and exports.

We are positioned within the Innovative Medicine segment to build global strategies and general trade consultation to the business units serviced by Innovative Medicine Supply Chain. We leverage our position to gain visibility into Innovative Medicine operations, processes, systems, and organizational structure, which provides us with the insights on how to best address compliance activities and tailor them to Innovative Medicine´s specific needs.

We take pride in being an in-house resource for Innovative Medicine trade controls, ready to pivot as needed
- from supporting rapid launches of life-saving medicine to our patients to agilely intervening to address potential supply chain disruptions. We also identify potential supply chain optimization opportunities and integrate trade compliance into supply chain processes for optimal operational efficiency and productivity expansion. But our work doesn’t stop there; we provide proactive trade compliance support on network optimization strategies, lead significant cost-savings opportunities, and socialize and train business functions on global trade compliance topics.

**About the Sr. Analyst role**:
Innovative Medicine is seeking a Global Program Sr. Analyst APAC who shares our mission to implement a best-in-class global trade controls program for the segment with a focus on continually optimizing trade compliance - _without_ disturbing business operations.

The Global Trade Program Sr. Analyst is an in-house trade professional working on Innovative Medicine’s complex customs initiatives, strategic projects and tactical tasks aimed at minimizing customs duties and related expenses as well as entry delays.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- ** Implement, Integrate, and Streamline Trade Compliance Solutions and Processes for Optimal Compliance and Efficiency**:

- Actively participate in reducing risk and strengthening trade compliance for the commercial legal entities of Innovative Medicine of Johnson & Johnson via targeted projects.
- Participate in projects that efficiently integrate and streamline trade compliance processes with Innovative Medicine business operations, systems and departments. Work with key upstream stakeholders to anchor Trade Control into critical stage gate to ensure proper alignment with data and trade controls.
- Actively participate in mapping global trade processes for Innovative Medicine with specific focus on the Asia Pacific region.
- Document and maintain applicable work instructions or other documented procedures.
- Maintain agility needed to participate in unforeseen ad hoc projects and other assigned duties as needed.
- **System implementation**:

- Serve as a team member in the implementation of GTS and S4/Hana systems for Innovative Medicine, ensuring effective alignment with business goals.
- ** Collaborate cross-functionally**:

- Collaborate with various departments, organizations, and stakeholders to anchor trade compliance, representing Innovative Medicine's interests. Partner in the development and preparation of strategic, operational, and technical plans.
- **Own / Maintain IM Trade Data**:

- Help to determine and document new processes needed to support GTS work streams.
- Provide support to troubleshoot SAP system logic errors related to trade data and escalate to appropriate personnel if needed.
- Generate, maintain, and update the repository of end-use letters and other government facing documentation to support customs declaration of Innovative Medicine products.
- Maintain trade data for all SAP material master’s inside the Master Data Management tool "sIDMa."
- ** Support Innovative Medicine Supply Chain and Business Operations Related to Trade**:

- Offer support to business operations by intaking active issues facing IM (e.g., maintain Helpdesk intake process to respond to urgent supply chain delays or issues related to trade).
- Serve as an IM trade representative on new product introductions; physical or financial sourcing, manufacturing, or distribution decisions, proposals, or projects; network optimization initiatives; or other risk/opportunity assessments.
