We are looking for an exceptional Restaurant Manager that possesses strong knowledge of wines and spirits. Experience managing a high volume venue, ability to drive sales and motivation of a large floor team. Exceed expectations by meeting and anticipating the wishes and needs of the guests and complying with CÉ LA VI standards & procedures.

**Required Education & Experience**
- BA degree from a reputable university
- Holding an internationally recognised professional wine qualification
- Minimum 8 years of experience, including 2 to 3 years of experience in a similar position
- Excellent communication and computer skills
- Strong analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills to evaluate alternatives and provide recommendations on business issues.
- Excellent management skills
- Ability to work in a team environment

**Principle Accountabilities**
- Manage overall activities & activations
- Achieve objectives through appropriate planning, organization of staff, inventory management, cost control and maximization of the Restaurant’s sales and profits.
- Assist the Operations Manager/General Manager in the development of the Restaurant’s overall yearly plan and budget.
- Provide senior management with all necessary data and statistics relating to Restaurant sales and performance, in order to assist them in their decision-making process.
- Observe compliance with policies and procedures, as well as governmental laws and regulations.
- Supervise the opening & closing of the restaurant.
- Ensures the proper cleaning and lighting of all restaurant internal and external areas.
- Supervise a daily-check up on the smooth performance of all restaurant machinery and equipment.
- Maintain safe working conditions for employees and customers; resolve safety concerns quickly.
- Follow up on maintenance issues
- Ensure the proper appearance (condition of uniforms) and grooming of assigned staff members.
- Establish a plan to fulfil the restaurant’s manpower needs, through the retention of current employees and through communicating recruiting needs to the HR Department.
- Manage the restaurant’s staff through coaching and training, in order to improve performance and to achieve the department’s objectives and targets.
- Follow-up on the rotation schedule of new employees and trainees.
- Motivate and develop staff in order to encourage their professional development.
- Evaluate the performance of all restaurant employees ensuring that reviews are delivered to the HR Department on time.
- Suggest salary reviews, propose personnel actions such as promotions and provide feedback to employees.
- Maintain discipline, recommend and administer corrective actions.
- Collaborate with the HR Department to ensure the proper administration of employees’ annual leaves

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $5,000.00 - $6,500.00 per month
