Senior Procurement Engineer

**Responsibilities**:

- Support Singapore Site Procurement Operations.
- Work closely with planner, product development team to support operation and R&D activities together with Procurement Engineer.
- New product requirement(s) and negotiate with supplier(s) by leveraging on global network and volume.
- Initiate and drive cost, lead-time and inventory reduction in the commodities assigned.
- Analyse and prepare procurement data for management review.
- Identify and develop and maintain supplier base.
- Participate in supplier performance review, selection and qualification to ensure that suppliers are conforming to organizational expectations and requirements.
- Gather market intelligence and monitor market trends to proactively develop appropriate strategies.
- Support procurement projects in enhancing process and system.
- Any ad-hoc duties as assigned

**Requirements**:

- Strong analytical, inter-personal and communication skills
- At least 5 years of working experience in procurement or manufacturing environment.
- Meticulous and detail-orientated.
- Able to work independently with mínimal supervision.
