In line with the globalization strategy and vision of the company, the Global Payments team builds a platform to provide cross-border payment solutions for all ByteDance's products and services, that are growing rapidly worldwide.

**Responsibilities**:

- Collaborate with the Risk team and internal cross-functional team members (e.g business solution, channel ops, product, technology)
- Collaborate with product and development teams to coordinate and track multiple projects concurrently, from conceptualization to delivery.
- End-to-end research, documentation, and execution of special project/initiatives for the risk team to to innovate and implement improvements to processes and/or systems, including making recommendations, troubleshooting technical issues, and refining workflows.
- End-to-end research, documentation, and execution of Risk Assessment for new payment methods, new markets, and new businesses within ByteDance.
- Conceptualization of Risk Framework and Standard Operating Procedures(SOP), including documentation of Business-As-Usual(BAU) processes.
- Lead initiatives by identifying, gathering, interpretating, analysing processes, and present findings regarding Payments Risk to the Risk team members and external stakeholders.

**Qualifications**:

- 2-3 years of professional experience in Payments Risk Management or Consulting.
- Strong project management experience and a proven track record of building and scaling initiatives from the ground up.
- Aptitude to identify new ways to approach risk management and to think creatively.
- Strong analytical, objective, and uses metrics to make decisions.
- Strong ability to multitask, prioritize and execute tasks without supervision.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate complex problems into simpler terms, and effectively influence both peers and senior leadership
- Prior knowledge of the payment or financial services industry is a plus
- Experience using SQL is a plus.
