In line with the globalization strategy and vision of the company, the Global Payments team builds a platform to provide cross-border payment solutions for all ByteDance's products and services, that are growing rapidly worldwide. This role is part of the Global Payments Risk team, responsible for Fraud Prevention and Risk Operations (incl. chargeback management).

**Responsibilities**:

- Perform investigations and analysis of cardholder disputed transactions as per card scheme regulation
- Drive and manage the chargeback team's performance and productivity
- Develop standard operating procedures for chargeback representment
- Keep current on card scheme rules and regulation
- Instill a positive risk culture in the company and provide customised training
- Support the risk team in various initiatives and ad hoc projects as required
- 5+ years of experience in acquiring scheme rules
- Strong understanding of the payment technology industry (including chargeback/dispute lifecycle)
- People manager passionate about mentoring your team
- Results oriented and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment requiring prioritization and ownership
- Confident communicator with the ability to interact at all levels, including working closely with cross functional teams
- Aptitude to identify new ways to approach risk management
