Risk Operations Manager

In line with the globalization strategy and vision of the company, the Global Payments team builds a platform to provide cross-border payment solutions for all ByteDance's products and services, that are growing rapidly worldwide.
**Responsibilities**:
- Drive and manage the risk operations team's performance and productivity
- Develop standard operating procedures across all risk areas
- Perform investigations to identify fraud/credit related patterns and resolve escalated issues from the team taking into consideration risk versus customer impact
- Keep current on various risk trends that might affect the payment industry
- Instill a positive risk culture in the company and provide customized training
- Support the risk team in various initiatives and ad hoc projects as required
- 5+ years of experience in risk operations (fraud and/or chargeback and/or credit/underwriting)
- Seasoned people manager passionate about mentoring your team - Strong understanding of the payment technology industry
- Results oriented and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment requiring prioritization and ownership
- Confident communicator with the ability to interact at all levels, including working closely with cross functional teams
- Aptitude to identify new ways to approach risk management and to think creatively
- Experience in working with card networks would be a plus
