The Executive role supports and carries out the implementation of programmes, activities and events aligned to the strategic direction of Samaritans of Singapore’s vision and mission through internal and external communication and partnership initiatives.
Working closely with the Deputy Director/ Manager of the Advancement & Planning (A&P) team in implementing all operational aspects of key internal and external communication, publicity, social media management and engagement programmes that are aligned with SOS’ brand and vision ‘To be an available lifeline to anyone in crisis’ and to help to support and drive awareness of SOS’ programs and services in suicide prevention, intervention and postvention.
Coupled with strong proficiency in copywriting and digital marketing competencies, the scope of the role also involves developing and supporting relationships with internal and external media and agency partners and to be steering the management of the SOS’ touchpoints including website development and maintenance, writing news letters and speeches and compilation of annual report.
Working closely with the Deputy Director and Manager to:
- Ensure compliance of the agency’s branding and positioning in all communication.
- Plan, coordinate and implement allinternal and external communication activities for SOS.
- Implement and execute SOS’ digitalinitiatives on social media including Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube,Twitter etc.
- Interpret and analyze social analytics,campaign impact and effectiveness to align and optimize campaign effectivenessback to the agency’s objectives.
- Prepare and review collaterals around outreach activities - annual campaign on suicide awareness, collaterals, in-house newsletter, annual report, website, social media and public relations.
- Support media and partner engagement.
- Assist in event and program execution and organization.
- Prepare monthly reports for management team.
**Educational Qualification**:
- Degree in Journalism, Communications or Marketing
**Relevant Experience**:
- At least 1year of relevant experience working in Social Service Agencies
- Excellent proficiency in writing
- Detailed and meticulous
- Good planning and organizational skills
- Able to multi-task and work independently
