**Job Purpose**
- Support Asset / Contract management team of assigned LNG Carriers from a OPEX budget and cost management financial accounting perspective.
- Ensure effective communication and co-ordination with Charterer, respective vessels, Shareholders, Technical Managers, and internal support teams (LNG Finance Team / MOL Tokyo HQ etc.)
- OPEX budget and cost management.

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- 1. Owner / Shareholder representative and Manager’s representative for a fleet of LNGC’s that are owned by JV.
- The Commercial Manager will allocate several vessels under his responsibility to manage ‘day to day.
- 2. Assist Senior Executive & Manager in maintaining close and effective communications with:

- Charterers Representatives
- J/V Shareholders based overseas
- Technical Managers
- 4. Ensure effective governance and compliance of all relevant Agreements listed below, however the list is not exhaustive:

- Time Charter Party
- Ship Management Agreements
- Joint Venture and Shareholder Agreements
- Shipbuilding Contracts
- Facility Agreement
- Insurance policies (H&M, Loss of Hire, War and P&I)
- 5. Ensure vigorous control and review of Ship Technical Manager actual spend v budget.
- 6. Understanding of pre-delivery and post-delivery budgets, being able to assist with reviewing them, and advising Technical Manager the budget assumptions where require.
- 7. Preparation of analysis reports between different sets of budgets (pre-delivery and post-delivery budgets) and actuals and / or estimates.
- 8. Preparation of the financial part of various reports such as Business Report and Shareholder presentation.
- 9. May require attending and / or presenting the reports to various stakeholders such as Senior Management, Joint Venture Owners, and Charterers.
- 10. In depth understanding of the project to be able to efficiently monitor, correctly track OPEX & CAPEX costs, items for recharges and advice Technical Manager and various Finance Departments accordingly.
- 11. Identify and improve processes and / or procedures to ensure efficiency.
- 12. Ensure relevant certificates, licenses and insurance documents are in place and renewal of such documents in good time manner.
- 13. Provide covering for Team members when required.
- 14. Ensure Owners (Hong Kong) & Shareholders reports are submitted as per the agreed deadlines.
- Prepare Budget documents and analysis for approvals
- Long term OPEX Projections, including Cash-flow
- Handle ad-hoc requests / clarifications from Shareholders / Owners
- 15. Ensure effective communications with all stakeholders.

**Job Requirement**

**_ Qualifications:_**
- Degree in maritime and / or business
- Shipping focus degree
- Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers

**_
Knowledge and Experience:_**
- A good understanding of shipping commercial operations, market gained at another owner and / or energy company internship
- Familiarity with time charter party / shipbuilding contractual terms and associated commercial agreements
- Basic financial knowledge and ability to read basic financial statements
- Good cultural awareness with the ability to engage with various stakeholders worldwide
- Maritime law and insurance study background

- Well organized and able to manage multiple tasks / projects by oneself
- Commercially astute with a sharp eye for detail
- Numerically astute and comfortable reporting large numbers to management (USD$ millions)
- Capable of reporting complex commercial matters in a few salient points and provide resolution(s) to manager.
- Strong negotiation and dispute resolution skills
- Stakeholder engagement
- Strong data analytical skills
- Advanced Excel skills
