**Job Summary**
- Responsible for providing the financial oversight in real estate transactions across the APAC region by overseeing financial due diligence and technical accounting assessments, while managing the interface between ARE community, Allianz group and its governing bodies

**Reporting To**
- Global Head of Transaction Services Finance (with dotted line to APAC Head of Finance)

**Key Responsibilities**
- Conduct financial due diligence or oversee external advisors to carry out financial due diligence for real estate transactions across the APAC region
- Analyze targets and their financial statements
- Coordinate with external service providers
- Support negotiations of purchase and sale agreements
- Participate in acquisition structuring under tax, regulatory and accounting aspects
- Support and review modelling of acquisition structures
- Prepare financial due diligence and IFRS findings for Investment Committee
- Interface between accounting, treasury, risk and various other Group departments of Allianz SE
- Document technical IFRS accounting assessments, including implications & handover (IFRS/ HGB), investment restructurings, impairment risk and changes in accounting standards
- Support post deal closing and integration matters

**Key Requirements**
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in an international audit/consultancy firm or in a M&A department
- Strong knowledge in IFRS, additional APAC local GAAP knowledge is advantageous
- Excellence in written and spoken English, additional foreign languages is a plus
- Competence in MS Office Programs, Argus Enterprise/ Taliance is advantageous
- Excellent analytical skills and the confidence to translate complexity into meaningful insights
- Target-oriented and hands-on mentality
- Ability to prioritize effectively and the skills to adapt quickly to new challenges
- Excellent negotiation and influencing skills, and a dedicated team player
- Beneficial: further qualifications, e.g. MBA, CPA, CA, CFA, as well as knowledge of real estate as an asset class
