**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Supervise and manage motor insurance claims
- Handle enquiries and correspondence of motor claims
- Investigate and negotiate claims settlements & recoveries
- Help or guide staff on difficult claims
- Review claim files including monitoring of recoveries, setting of reserves and claims payment
- Manage clients and intermediaries
- Manage complaints handling
- Train, guide and coach junior staff
- Assist in ensuring smooth operation of the Motor Claims Section
- Undertake any other duties as may be assigned
**QUALIFICATIONS**
- Tertiary education
- Relevant qualifications in general insurance
**OTHER INFORMATION**
- Operating experience in motor claims
- Motor Insurance knowledge
- Claims technical know how
- Technical knowledge of underwriting including reinsurance
- Conceptual skill
- Communication skill
- Negotiation skill
