**Responsibilities**:

- Conduct money market / FX trades for the bank’s funding positions of all currencies, and ensure full compliance with all relevant policies and procedures.
- Manage the overall liquidity with money market, certificates of deposit, medium term notes, interest rate derivatives such as IRS and CCS and foreign exchange swap transactions.
- Monitor closely the currency-pair swap points and its interest rates movement on a daily basis. Conduct arbitrage positions where applicable with the aim to lower the overall cost of funding for the branch.
- Manage gap position using overnight and term borrowings and placements and ensure strict adherence to all relevant policies and procedures.
- Manage the cash flow positions of the banking book and ensure that its liquidity is always well maintained and adequately provided.
- Fund the DBU book for SGD assets and observe strictly the relevant statutory requirements.
- Monitor and ensure that all the nostro and vostro accounts are adequately funded and guard against nostro account overdraft incident and minimize excess funds in vostro account.
- Adhere strictly to the power of attorney and the stipulated dealer authorization limits.
- Actively source for funding channels for the branch with lowering cost of funding objectives.
- Comply fully with relevant local and Head Office financial markets’ rules and regulations.
- Establish and maintain cordial interbank counterparty dealing relationship and adhere to financial market regulatory and practices (FMRP) when interacting with them.

**Requirements**:

- Degree in Economics, Business, Finance, Mathematics and relevant qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of money market or foreign exchange working experience in a financial institution.
- Mature with good communication skills and must be able to work independently
