Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the advanced metasurface, RIS researches.- Develop new communication methods based on new antennas, e.g., RIS-based new modulation, multiple access methods, backhaul, fronthaul, analog beamforming, etc.- Research on new scenarios combined with communication and sensing technologies, e.g. Integrated Sensing and Communication (ISAC), Simultaneously Transmitting And Reflecting (STAR) RIS, etc.- Research on long-distance transmission using OAM beams, e.g. metasurface lens, RIS-assist transmission, low interference demodulation, etc.- Develop experiment demos and testbed, outdoor experiments.- Work with team members to ensure smooth integration of various subsystems.- Document all processes and implementation.- Manage tasks according to the project schedule.
Job Requirements:
- Ph.D. degree in Electromagnetic Theory and Electronic Engineering or another related field from a reputable university.- Research background in communication or electromagnetic theory with strong publications in related fields.- Good understanding and ability in mathematics.- Proficient and good skills in Matlab, CST, HFSS or other simulation software.- Excellent algorithm analysis and design capabilities in the field of signal processing, OR experienced in RF antenna design.- Fluent English speaking and writing skills as required to publish research.
