Role summary: Works independently on most assignments and under the direction of more senior staff on only the most complex projects, analyses, and tasks. Responsible for overseeing funds/clients’ accounts and other tasks to ensure guidelines are set up appropriately. Works with other Global Investment Control (GIC) teams or business groups.

Primary Responsibilities:

- Reviews, negotiates, and implements investment guidelines for new and existing Equity and/or Fixed Income funds/client accounts, liaising with business partners to draft, negotiate, review, and interpret guidelines and regulations for funds/client accounts.
- Codes, implements, and maintains compliance rules in the compliance system for funds and client accounts, in a timely manner or as part of broad, more complex, projects.
- May lead or participate in projects and team/department initiatives.
- Participates in the training of other associates.
- May perform quality checks and verify the accuracy of work prepared by other associates.
- Ensure tasks assigned are completed in a timely manner.
- Performs additional responsibilities as assigned.

Business & Technical Skills:

- Experience in investment compliance or guidelines analysis roles; knowledge of fixed income and/or derivatives guidelines / compliance is preferred.
- Able to code compliance rules in our compliance system, utilizing established rule coding conventions.
- Ability to be self-driven to understand how and why things work, the financial industry and/or the connections between processes and technology.
- Strong written and oral communication and interpersonal skills as well as the ability to effectively interact with a diverse group of associates including investment and legal professionals.

- In addition to a highly competitive base salary, per plan guidelines, restrictions and vesting requirements, you also will be eligible for an individual annual performance bonus, plus Capital’s annual profitability bonus plus a retirement plan where Capital contributes 15% of your eligible earnings._
