**Your Role and Responsibilities**

Technology Consulting advises our clients in transformation and optimization of their journeys to cloud. As a Cloud Architect, you accompany our customers across Middle East and Africa region with a lot of positive energy from strategic consideration to successful implementation.

This role is responsible for designing and developing advanced cloud-based solutions for organizations migrating and modernizing their existing workloads and infrastructure to the cloud. The Architect assists with cloud deployment models such as the public cloud, private cloud, and hybrid cloud.

Your Tasks
- As a cloud architect you will be responsible for designing and implementing infrastructures in hybrid multi cloud environments.
- You can connect the dots between different technology domains and business, and you can advise client architects to become a trusted partner.
- Analyze existing infrastructures, define strategies, design solutions, and develop high level/low level architectures.
- You demonstrate knowledge of cloud architecture and implementation features (OS, multi-tenancy, virtualization, orchestration, elastic scalability)
- Demonstrate knowledge of DevOps tool chains and processes
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert to the customers for cloud end-to-end architecture
- Develop a library of deployable and documented cloud design patterns
- Develop solutions architecture and evaluate architectural alternatives for private, public and hybrid cloud models, including IaaS, PaaS, and other cloud services for large scale hybrid multi cloud environments using public and private cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure, GCP, VMWare, OpenStack.
- Contribute to DevOps development activities and complex development tasks
- You understand whole solution architecture concepts and communicate and negotiate designs with customer architects.
- You can facilitate workshops, present to client’s audiences and Executive-Level.
- Ensure delivered solutions meet/perform to technical and functional/non-functional requirements

**Required Technical and Professional Expertise**
- Completed degree in a business, natural science or technical degree program
- Professional experience: at least 10+ years of work experience, with 5+ years of relevant experience as cloud architect, cloud advisor, cloud consultant or equivalent.
- Certification as Cloud Solution Architect by AWS, Azure or GCP will be preferred.
- Extensive Experience with modern tools & concepts for cloud Service Management, Automation and Operations, etc. Github, Gitlab, Bamboo, Jenkins, travis, JSON, YAML, Python, Java, C#
- Strong Architecture & Solutioning skills and hands on experience leveraging cloud technologies including public cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP,.) and private cloud (VMWare, OpenStack, OpenShift etc.)
- Knowledge with container adoption strategies, approach and Agile DevOps methodologies is a big plus.
- Excellent leadership & consulting skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Ability to translate business requirements into technology solutions.
- Ability to translate visions into executable projects with clarity and purpose
- Excellent analytical, organizational, problem solving, collaboration and communication skills
