**Specialized Technology Consultant**

**Job Scope**:

- Provide expert advice and consultancy on the implementation, risk management, and optimization of specialized technologies.
- Work closely with audit teams to understand the technical nuances and potential security implications of technologies such as AI & ML, IoT, Service Automation, and Biometric and Identity Verification.
- Facilitate the understanding of complex technology environments and guide the development of audit and compliance strategies.

**Qualifications**:

- Expert knowledge and hands-on experience with the specific technology area (AI & ML, IoT, etc.).
- Advanced degrees or certifications in relevant technology fields (e.g., PhD in machine learning, certifications in IoT security).
- Demonstrable experience in consulting or project management in high-tech environments.

**Responsibilities**:

- Conduct in-depth assessments of technology deployments to identify potential vulnerabilities and areas for improvement.
- Guide and assist in formulating audit strategies that are comprehensive and adapted to the complexities of each technology.
- Offer insights and recommendations on technology management, best practices, and compliance with industry standards.
- Engage with technical and non-technical stakeholders to ensure that the security and operational aspects of the technologies are understood and effectively managed.

**Specific to Each Technology**:

- **AI & ML**: Focus on data privacy, algorithmic transparency, and fairness; ensuring AI systems are designed to mitigate bias and maintain data integrity.
- **IoT**: Address device security, network connectivity, and data exchange protocols; ensuring robust security measures are in place to protect interconnected devices.
- **Service Automation**: Evaluate automated service configurations, security of credentials, and integrity of automation scripts.
- **Biometric and Identity Verification**: Concentrate on the security of biometric data, privacy concerns, and the effectiveness of identity verification processes.
