Work locations: Yishun
Working hours: Monday - Friday, 8am - 5.30pm
**Responsibilities**:
- Support and drive quality control and root cause investigations for both internal (IQC) and external (OTB and customer defect) findings. Both types of findings require working closely with various departments such as Supplier Quality, Production, Quality Management and RND.
- Responsible to coordinate for short term containment as well as recommending appropriate improvements for prevention of recurrence.
- Responsible for the process control of assigned product and using statistical process control methods to review and analyse data to ensure process stability.
- Develop critical process metrics that can be monitored on a regular basis and resolving bottlenecks at the root cause. Process control also includes periodic review and updating of all work procedures and checklists in accordance with ISO9001 standards.
- Develop and maintain FMEA and control plans for the assigned processes.
- Support Product Sustaining Group (PSG) in technical queries for manufacturing process when required.
- Contribute to the review and approval of engineering changes, provide recommendations of improvements and ensuring change is implemented in Production/System Acceptance. In the event of line down due to defect, he/she is also responsible to escalate any topics to PSG for discussion and resolution.
- Conduct risk assessment with other stakeholders such as Quality Management, Production and Supplier Quality to highlight any product or human related safety risks for discussion and resolution.
- Be involved in projects such as product knowledge transfer between site and will be a stakeholder for make. Ensure all processes are set-up, execute and plan training, and supporting make activities in accordance to the project milestones. Initiate or participate in the fruition ideas for cost improvement of the products.
**Requirements**:
- Education qualification in any Engineering or equivalent field
- Minimum 1 - 3 years’ working experience in Manufacturing or Automation environment Experience with statistical process control methods will be an added advantage
