The People & Culture Partner team is at the centre of the P&C function. People Partners are connected to business units (BU) and work closely with the Leaders and the business to understand the BU’s talent strategy, initiatives and/or challenges and then in partnership with the COEs, strategizes and activates solutions that deliver high impact.
This role will take on the P&C lead for Warner Bros. Discovery’s Content Lines of Business services including Kids, Factual & Lifestyle and HBO Entertainment*.

To be successful in the role, the individual should love making a difference and play as a team member and/or coach to build winning businesses and highly energized teams. The individual should be able to lead and work as a trusted advisor to senior leaders in the business, leverage resources from the wider P&C ecosystem and inspire individuals to create a strong culture guided by WBD Guiding Principles to do their best work.
**Responsibilities**:
- Drive the People & Culture strategy to meet the short-term and long-term needs of the business
- Act as the initial point of contact for the leaders/teams across the business
- Develop capability to leverage support from the respective Centre of Expertise teams for efficient P&C implementation.
- Develop and maintain successful business partner relationships with key stakeholders across the LOBs.
- In partnership with the Senior People Partner, advise, guide and support line managers in performance management, disciplinary and grievance procedures.
- Support to ensure new joiners are successfully onboarded.
- Identify opportunities for enhancements within P&C team and LOBs in collaboration with business leaders.
- Support the annual merit and bonus review process.
- Support the execution of local / regional / global HR programmes andollaborate on ad-hoc projects including people programs, policies and practices to sustain a positive work environment for all employees.
- Foster a positive and high achieving culture through collaboration and encourage creative risk-taking to achieves goals.
- Create exceptional **employee experiences** through the employee lifecycle. Ensure our organization’s treatment of employees is fair, respectful, and consistent with our business values and objectives. Proactively provide creative and engaging solutions to **motivate employees** at different career points.
- Ability to think creatively to produce strategic, proactive recommendations to P&C and the Business to proactively address and mitigate systemic issues.
**Job Requirements / Skills**:
- Successful track record as HR Business Partner in progressive, fast-paced environment. Ability to navigate matrix structures
- Highly passionate about understanding & partnering with business with a genuine interest in people
- Ability to influence stakeholders independently
- Build collaborative relationships within People & Culture team internationally as well as business teams & individual employees in business
- Be operationally strong as well as** hands on**.
- Demonstrate capability and confidence to work with and influence senior leaders and stakeholders
**Desirables**:
Experience of working in organisations that have gone throught recent M&A/integrations
