Assistant Executive, Purchasing

Based in Singapore and reporting to the Manager, Purchasing, you will be an integral member of the Procurement Team.
- Perform accurate cost comparison, analysis, data mining.
- Perform supplier qualification such like assessment, market research, supplier visit.
- Understand the material/product to purchase, be able to conduct sourcing based on requirement/specification.
- Ensuring the prompt and accurate processing of purchase requisitions through the best mean possible, while meeting delivery and budgetary targets.
- Understand necessary timeline of shipbuilding project for accurate equipment/system planning and purchase.
- Regularly managing the shipyard’s vendors to ensure that deliverables are being met at all times. Good follow up and expediting skills, promptly updating stakeholders for key milestones.
- Ensure that the company’s policies and SOP’s are complied with at all times.
**Requirements**:
- Working knowledge in SAP/Workday preferred.
- Good negotiation skills.
- Knowledge of working with large datasets.
- Good analytical and organizational skills, resourceful and meticulous.
- Meticulous in details with great attention in details
- Effective communicator in written and spoken English.
- Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Fresh graduate or without Purchasing experience can be considered.
Pay: $3,000.00 - $3,500.00 per month
