**Company Overview**:
Atera Water Pte Ltd is a water membrane technology startup based in Singapore, spun off from Nanyang Technological University. We specialize in the development of cutting edge and sustainable nanocomposite hollow fiber membranes designed to empower communities to tackle water challenges amidst climate change and high costs of advanced filtration membranes.

Atera Water is collaborating with the faculty of Material Sciences and Engineering at Nanyang Technological University and Singapore Institute of Technology to develop affordable membranes and low energy systems primarily targeted to replace traditional water treatment systems which utilises high amounts of chemicals and generate sludge that is harmful to the environment.

**Position Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Develop and execute comprehensive business development strategies to achieve sales targets and expand market share.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including potential clients, markets, and partnerships.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, industry partners, and government agencies.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to stay informed about industry trends and identify growth opportunities.
- Collaborate with the technical and product development teams to ensure alignment of business development efforts with company goals and product capabilities.
- Lead negotiations and close high-value deals with customers and partners.
- Represent Atera Water at industry conferences, trade shows, and other relevant events to promote our products and services.
- Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to prospective clients and partners.
- Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on business development activities, pipeline, and performance.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related role within the water treatment industry, with a focus on filtration membranes.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
- Strong understanding of water treatment technologies and market dynamics.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to think strategically and develop innovative solutions to complex business challenges.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients, partners, and attend industry events.
