Position Overview:
We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our growing team at Happie SG. As part of our business development division, you will play a key role in identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, establishing strategic partnerships, and driving revenue growth. This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about corporate wellness, technology-driven solutions, and making a tangible impact in the workplace well-being space.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify New Business Opportunities:
- Research, identify, and qualify new business prospects within various industries, with a focus on corporate wellness, HR solutions, and employee engagement.
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of potential clients, targeting both SMBs and large enterprises.
Lead Generation & Client Acquisition:
- Develop and execute lead generation strategies to expand the customer base.
- Organize and conduct discovery meetings to understand client needs and tailor Happie SG’s offerings accordingly.
Strategic Partnerships:
- Forge partnerships with key industry players, including HR tech companies, wellness providers, and corporate service providers.
- Negotiate and close partnership agreements that support our growth objectives.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams (e.g., Marketing, Product, and Customer Success) to ensure alignment with business goals.
Sales Strategy & Execution:
- Develop sales strategies that align with the company’s growth targets and overall business objectives.
- Maintain consistent and clear communication with prospects and clients through all stages of the sales process.
- Prepare and deliver high-impact presentations and proposals to senior decision-makers.
Market Research & Analysis:
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities.
- Provide valuable insights to internal teams regarding customer preferences, pain points, and emerging opportunities.
Account Management & Retention:
- Support existing clients to ensure successful implementation and onboarding of Happie SG’s products and services.
- Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling additional services to current clients.
- Maintain long-term relationships with clients and partners to foster loyalty and retention.
Key Requirements:
**Experience**:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in business development, sales, or partnerships, preferably within the HR tech or corporate wellness.
- Proven track record of successfully generating leads, closing deals, and achieving sales targets.
**Skills**:
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Excellent networking abilities and a solid understanding of B2B sales processes.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to identify and capitalize on market opportunities.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
**Education**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
Preferred:
- Experience with CRM tools and other sales technologies.
- Knowledge of the corporate wellness and HR tech landscape is a plus.
