**Overview**

The role of the Finance team is to ensure proper maintenance of financial records, to provide timely financial information and accurate reporting and business information to the senior management team and respective funding agencies. It manages planning, budgeting and forecasting and promotes strong governance and control in the organization by ensuring compliance to the applicable Financial Guidelines, financial management processes and applicable accounting standards.

The incumbent will be part of the Finance Team, mainly supporting the procurement function of NVPC. The position requires a multi-skilled person who is tech-savvy and with strong communication, analytical and adaptability skills

**Responsibilities
**Financial Operations (Primary)
**Procurement**
- Manage and review the procurement processes and ensures that it complies with company policies and procedures
- Support the teams in preparing Request for Quotation/ Proposal, analyzing & evaluation vendors, negotiating better value for the purchases and obtaining approval for the purchases.
- Handle procurement related queries from internal and external parties
- Monitor and manage deals to ensure that project objectives are maintained
- Build, develop and manage relationships with vendors, leading to effective partnerships.
- Maintain and update vendor database.

**Giving.sg Finance**
- Manage GSG accounts receivable and ensure timely invoicing and receipts of payments from NPOs.
- Support Giving.sg financial processes to ensure accurate and timely disbursements to non-profit organisations.

**Adhoc Duties**
- Provide secretariat support to Finance Committee
- Maintains an accurate filing and record keeping system for all financial statements and company documents.
- Assist with monthly reporting, budgeting and audit.
- Provide support in other finance matters and any other ad-hoc duties as assigned

**Deliverables**
- Provide prompt advise and support to all users on procurement matters.
- To turnaround urgent user queries within a day and for non-urgent ones, within 2 days.
- Perform AR function for Giving.sg, ensuring quarterly invoicing and managing receipts from NPOs.
- Complete the FC minutes within 2 days after the meeting.

**Requirements**:

- Good to have ACCA Level 1 or 2
- Ideally 2 years of working experience in a finance position, preferably in procurement, fresh graduates with internship experience are welcome to apply
- Computer literate with good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Power Point.
- Proficient in SAGE accounting system is preferred.
- Good knowledge of GST rules and regulations
- Able to perform accounting analysis and reporting to support decision-making purposes.
