**Team Introduction**

The Physical Security Strategic Planning team is part of the Corporate Services department and is responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive strategies to protect physical assets, personnel, and information within the organization. This team focuses on creating a secure environment that minimizes risks, prevents unauthorized access, and ensures the safety of personnel and critical resources. This team will focus on risk assessment, strategy development, policy and procedure development, and collaboration with different departments to gather input, align objectives, and ensure that security measures are integrated effectively into operations.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide strategic planning support, consultancy and tools to ensure that best practices are employed to protect physical assets and personnel
- Track constantly trends of the security industry and analyze best practices of global leading technology companies in the field of physical security, and provide the reference for the development path to physical security effectiveness
- Design risk assessment systems and provide specifications and consultancy to business operations, including other enhancements to data tools
- Establish a global data indicator system for physical security business to identify and track the changes and adjust global security roadmap accordingly
- Conduct special research and in-depth analysis on key business modules to support the transition of strategic plans into practice implementations, and work closely with relevant stakeholders in different regions to provide cohesive security management frameworks

**Qualifications**
- Knowledge of Physical Security concepts: possess a solid understanding of physical security principles, including threat assessment, risk management, access control, surveillance systems, and emergency response planning.
- Risk Assessment skills: ability to conduct thorough risk assessments, analyze vulnerabilities, and determine potential threats. This includes evaluating phsyical infrastructure, identifying weaknesses, and proposing appropriate solutions to mitigate risks.
- Strategic Thinking and Planning: strong strategic planning abilities to develop comprehensive security strategies aligned with organizational goals.
- Communication and Collaboration: effective communication skills to collaborate with various stakeholders, including executives, department heads, security personnel, external vendors and employees. The ability to convey complex information clearly, facilitate discussions, and build consensus
- Leadership and Project Management: strong leadership abilities, project management skills, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams. This includes coordinating resources, managing budgets, and ensuring timely execution of security initiatives.
- Ability to navigate ambiguity and thrive in a fast paced environment
