Assistant Facilities Manager

Reporting to the Head of Facilities, you will assist and guide the team in all aspects of building maintenance, M&E services/equipment, preventive maintenance and ensure compliance to relevant statutory regulations on health and safety standards.

**Responsibilities**:
Manage and supervise technicians and contractors for various maintenance activities and projects
Prioritise maintenance work orders and work with the team to resolve daily operating issues
Implement preventive maintenance programme and ensure upkeep of the general maintenance schedule
Implement and manage safety procedures to ensure the provision of a safe working environment
Ensure compliance with statutory regulations on health and safety standards
Assist in day-to-day maintenance operations and perform other relevant duties as assigned by the Head of Facilities

**Requirements**:
Diploma in Building Management/Engineering/Facilities Management or equivalent and with at least 6 years’ relevant experience, preferably from the hospitality industry. Registered Workplace Health & Safety Officer will be an added advantage.
Sound knowledge of health and safety, environmental, buildings, system regulations and code of practices
Strong analytical, trouble-shooting and decision-making skills.
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Strong team player and able to work independently
