PURPOSE

FWD Group Digital Commerce team is responsible for Digital Sales (DS) and Digitally Assisted Sales (DAS). This role would focus on DAS and is responsible for bridging digital & business, defining operating model and performance standards for digital commercialization across FWD markets.

The role holder will support Group Digital Commerce in bringing together a holistic distribution digital enablement strategy for FWD by aligning the multifaceted components of digital, data & DC proposition across FWD markets.

The role will create a cohesive & scalable approach across FWD markets embodying both commercial viability & relevant positioning for our tied channel distribution’s change management.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES- Identify key problem statements on distribution - across each channel, in each market- Identify key areas of collaboration and track projects to clear and value additive outcomes- Build-up distributor centric digital solutions that is channel & proposition agnostic, working with market BUs, by integrating platform with channel journeys to facilitate the increase in digital adoption, DAS contribution & non-digital distribution channel productivity- Lead implementation of digitalization roadmap end to end, by channel and by market, including business case development; senior stakeholder buy-in; scalability; commercialization; performance tracking- Collaboration with Group Distribution, Group Digital, and local market teams, to implement the most optimal solution to solve the key problem statements, with a results-oriented focus- Change management for offline distribution channels, to accelerate adoption and utilization of digital solutions, to enhance DAS productivity and sales production- Integrate insights on latest industry trends, threats, generative AI, emerging technology, market opportunities, stakeholders focus etc. on setting priorities and the way forward- Influence and demonstrate to senior management the needs of future investment and changes

QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE- Be a catalyst for change that can think at regional level and engage people across the organization with a collaboration agenda- Be able to create momentum by working on multifaceted projects across BUs- Be able to communicate and influence stakeholders to contribute and participate with enthusiasm and energy- Ability to operate at a strategic level, influencing key decision makers and driving transformational change across a multi-market organisation- Have a unique blend of insurance industry knowledge, digital expertise, leadership skills and the ability to navigate ambiguity in a rapidly evolving landscape- Energetic individual who inspires others to the mission, cultivates partnerships and uses exceptional interpersonal skills to influence and build consensus- Ability to bring the best out of people with varying objectives and bring them towards shared outcomes- A self-starter with a strong entrepreneurial mind-set- Motivated to create change and challenge the status quo- Experience and exposure to complex multi-faceted projects a positive attribute for the role- Experience and exposure to digital and interest in emerging technology will be considered a positive attribute for the role- Having exposure to insurance distributors and distributor solutions is a necessary attribute- Excellent communication and marketing prowess- Someone who thrives on collaboration and creativity- Ability to lead cultural and behavioral change in a rapidly changing organization- Thrives under pressure - work well with constant change and ambiguity

KNOWLEDGE & TECHNICAL SKILLS- In-depth knowledge of the insurance or financial services industry in Asia- Proven track record in managing cross-cultural stakeholders and complex multi-market projects- Strategic agility and the ability to anticipate market trends and adapt strategies accordingly- Personal Attributes:
- Distribution specialist with a passion for innovation and distribution transformation- Results-driven with a commitment to achieving excellence in sales enablement- Resilient and adaptable, with the ability to navigate a complex and changing regional landscape- Collaborative mindset, with a focus on building strong relationships and driving team success- At least 10 years working in relevant areas
