As a member of our family-owned business, you will support the Finance Team in executing tasks for our Hong Kong and Macau business that will support the accounting processes while also ensuring that all policies, guidelines and regulatory standards are met and complied with. As Accounts Specialist supporting Hong Kong and Macau, you will**Accounts Specialist (12-month contract)**
Your new job includes
- prepare, administer and reconcile sales records and post settlement entries for all receipts, taking into consideration all necessary steps to maintain accurate records.
- encode and post invoices related to Team Members’ expenses and process weekly payments for trade and non-trade invoices, including sending of Statement of Accounts and reminders, to ensure a seamless and timely payment process to Heinemann’s vendors and partners.
- report weekly sales figures to management and landlord and assist in operation enquiries.
- prepare month-end and year-end closing and audit schedules.
- prepare weekly cashflow forecast reports to support analysis and decision making process.
- assist and support in all general accounting duties such as data extraction, report preparation, system testing, audit preparation and other tasks that supports efficiency and reliability of the Finance Team.
What you should bring along
- a Diploma in Accounting, Business or other qualifications such as LCCI and CAT, preferably with at least 3 years of accounting experience in an MNC environment.
- proficient in using Microsoft Office such as Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook as well as SAP FI module.
- a fast learner with a pronounced can-do attitude, complemented by the capability to multi-task and the flexibility to handle changing requirements in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- a proactive, independent team player with a keen attention to details, high level of accuracy and ability to work within tight timeline.
- a strong communication and interpersonal skills with the proven ability to engage with Team Members across all levels.
