Job Title: Admin Assistant, HR Dept (6mths Contract)
Location: Kallang/ Mountbatten
Working hour: 9.00am - 6.30pm
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Admin Assistant to join our Human Resources department on a 6-month contract basis. As an Admin Assistant, you will provide vital administrative support to the HR team, ensuring smooth operations and efficient processes. This role requires excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism.
**Responsibilities**:
- Provide administrative support to the HR department by handling tasks such as filing, data entry, and maintaining employee records.
- Schedule and coordinate interviews, meetings, and training sessions for HR staff and job applicants.
- Assist in the recruitment process by posting job openings, reviewing resumes, and conducting initial screenings.
- Prepare and distribute HR-related documents, such as offer letters, employment contracts, and performance evaluation forms.
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies, procedures, and benefits.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date HR databases and records, including personnel files, attendance records, and leave requests.
- Assist in organizing HR events, such as employee engagement activities, training programs, and wellness initiatives.
- Collaborate with the HR team to ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations.
- Support the HR team in various projects and initiatives as assigned.
**Requirements**:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in HR or related field is a plus.
- Proven experience as an administrative assistant or in a similar role, preferably in an HR department.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and HR software.
- Knowledge of HR processes and procedures is preferred.
- Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate with colleagues at all levels.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in executing tasks.
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and work under pressure.
