Veritas’ Worldwide Field Operations (WFO) propels company growth by driving all aspects of new business and channel sales and includes global sales operations and global sales enablement for all new business and renewal sales.

A Data Compliance (DC) Sales Specialist is responsible for learning the Data Compliance portfolio of products, become an expert in them, work directly with clients to help close deals and support field sales. The DC specialist will guide field sales on how to best position DC solutions with customers to help bring deals to closure. In addition, the specialist will build the necessary knowledge to articulate how Veritas solutions are best-in-class for the data compliance portfolio. The person in this position will work directly with clients and field sales.

**Responsibilities**:
- Effectively present the data compliance portfolio and how the different products work together to solve customer needs.- Strong understanding of archiving, compliance, and eDiscovery solutions.- Create and speak to reference architectures as needed.- Ability to manage multiple accounts in parallel, work positively with field sales, and align the right technical resources needed to close a deal.- Work closely with the product team to learn about new feature releases, provide feedback to the product team on what you see in the field and what customers are asking for.- Assist sales and renewal reps in winning opportunities by being the trusted voice of the sale.- Knowledgeable of the competitive landscape and how Veritas solutions win against the competition and, in some cases, compliment them.- Collaborate cross-functionally with different departments; marketing, products, field sales, renewals, and operations to help improve Veritas messaging and solutions.- Effectively represent offering, value proposition and differentiation, and functionality with customers and partners.- Support partners in customer engagements.

**Experience**:
- 10+ years of sales engineering or sales experience.- 10+ years of experience in archiving, eDiscovery, and compliance solutions.- Excellent written and oral communication skills across various stakeholders and collaborators.- Experience in presenting product capabilities to customer and partner audiences.- Have studied sales cycles and sales processes and methodologies.- Experience is detailed competitive analysis and delivering competitive assets.- Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Computer Science, Business Administration, Mathematics, or applicable experience.
