Job Description & Requirements

Assist in receiving of new acquisitions into HCC

Assist in updating collection related information into the Singapore Collections Management System (SCMS) and ACTS

Assist in exhibition support e.g. retrieval of artefacts for viewing, supervise packing, etc.

Manage the supply and storage of materials for packing and storage, including sourcing for suppliers

Manage and create RFID tags

Assist projects in permanent collections stores or conservation labs

Assist in liaising with appointed contractor and assist in setting up fumigation bubble

Assist in basic cleaning of artefacts after fumigation with art-handlers

Assist in liaising with waste collector to dispose of unwanted materials regularly

Assist in sourcing for vendors to fix Collections Management fixed assets and equipment

Assist in artefact handling and movement during internal stocktake exercise

Assist in New Acquisition Condition Assessment related support work

Assist in routine preventive conservation checks and projects

Assist in storage projects

Inventorying of equipment/ fixed assets/ furnishing

Participate in e-registry organising and filling duty

Any other related work assigned

Pay: $2,300.00 - $2,400.00 per month
