Application Support Engineer - Fixed Income & Risk

Fixed Income & Risk Technology is responsible for building, managing and maintaining systems for Front to back trade processing for the Fixed Income business as well as Risk Management for all asset classes and products, ranging from individual trader’s risks, to risk management across the entire firm.

We are assembling a strong technology team to build and support our next generation in-house risk and analytics tools. This team will provide L2/L3 support and have full ownership of the production environment for several key business lines (risk, analytics, trading, portfolio visualization, and market data).

**Principal Responsibilities**
- Identify and develop areas of improvement and be able to accurately assess business risk to help prioritize remediation
- Setup, manage, and support data file downloads and processing
- Administer outstanding issues are handed off to other regions and necessary follow-ups
- Flexible to work over weekends and evening time for changes and meetings

**Qualifications/Skills Required**
- Basic knowledge of Fixed Income or Commodities products.
- 5+ years professional experience in Python, Shell, and SQL
- Experience with C# programming is good to have
- Development in SQL skills and knowledge of various database systems within Linux, Unix, and/or Windows environments
- Knowledge around DevOps tools, ideally Docker/Kubernetes, Kafka, Maven, and AWS
- Self-starter with ability to quickly pick up new concepts and technologies (Public Cloud, Serverless architecture, etc.)
- Previous experience with monitoring tools (DataDog, OpsGenie, and ServiceNow)
