
Retail Operations Manager

**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
**Operational Excellence & Store Performance**:
- Oversee and ensure smooth daily operations across multiple retail locations.
- Monitor store performance, sales targets, and KPIs, implementing action plans to improve results.
- Develop and optimize operational processes to enhance efficiency and customer experience.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and health and safety standards.
- Oversee inventory management, stock control, and minimize losses through effective controls.
**Team Leadership & Development**:
- Lead, mentor, and develop store managers and retail staff to maximize performance and engagement.
- Provide training and support to ensure staff are well-equipped with product knowledge and customer service skills.
- Conduct performance reviews, set goals, and drive motivation across retail teams.
- Ensure adequate staffing levels and manage workforce scheduling effectively.
**Sales & Customer Experience**:
- Drive a customer-first culture by ensuring high service standards across all stores.
- Analyze customer feedback and implement strategies to enhance the shopping experience.
- Work with marketing teams to execute promotional campaigns and in-store activations.
- Ensure visual merchandising and store layout align with brand standards and drive sales.
**Financial & Budget Management**:
- Develop and manage budgets for store operations, optimizing costs while driving profitability.
- Analyze financial reports, sales trends, and expenses to identify areas for improvement.
- Work with procurement and supply chain teams to manage vendor relationships and cost efficiencies.
**Technology & Innovation**:
- Implement retail technology solutions for better inventory tracking, POS efficiency, and sales analysis.
- Stay updated with industry trends and innovations to enhance operational effectiveness.
**Key Requirements**:
- Proven experience in retail operations management, preferably in a multi-store environment.
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Proficiency in retail management software, inventory systems, and POS systems.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
- Preferably with experience in the kids, home and electronics section.
**Working Conditions**:
- Requires travel between store locations, current outlet at Changi City Point.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
