**What the role is**
- Report to the Director (BEM) and work with other BEM Deputy Directors to develop strategic plans, initiatives and procedures for the Division and alignment of Division’s staff to achieve PA objective in building social capital. - Lead the Facilities Management Section in maintaining and improve PA properties to ensure they are safe, fit-for-purpose and conducive for use and social interactions and energy efficient. - Plan, develop and implement facilities management (FM) strategies, policies and guidelines. - Align all other PA Divisions on FM Strategies, policies, processes and systems. - Drive digital and smart FM to enhance and optimise FM operations for improved productivity, efficiency and environmental sustainability. - Monitor and ensure compliance with regulatory standards, guidelines and prcedures at the whole-of-government (WOG) level including alignment with Singapore Green Gov targets - Guide staff and lead in the capability development of FM staff

**What you will be working on**

**What we are looking for**
- Professional qualification in Engineering, Building, Facilities or Estates Management, Construction Management or other building related disciplines. - At least 10 years working experience in facilities management or building services with minimum 5 years managerial/leadership appointment/role in similar field and has experience in adopting technology to drive energy conservation and operating efficiencies of building sub-system. Strong mechanical & engineering knowledge is added advantage. - Possesses strong knowledge of facilities management, building project management and workplace safety regulations. - Possesses good knowledge of Government procurement, tender guidelines and contracts administration processes, practices and requirements. - Possesses good understanding of statutory requirements and codes of practice knowledge for the built environment, - Is resourceful, adaptable and a dynamic team leader with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Is able to lead, motivate and nurture team members to perform and achieve specific goals and fulfil their potential. - Enjoys working with and managing people of different backgrounds, and inspiring them to achieve a common goal. - Is proficient in the English language, both verbal and written and proficient in a second language (Chinese, Malay or Tamil). - Has strong written, presentation, communication and interpersonal skills. - Is able to work within limited resources and timeline and possesses high level of initiatives and good time management. - Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint. - Certifications in Fire Safety Management, Green Mark Management, Workplace Safety & Health Management will be added advantage.
