Janssen Supply Group, LLC, a member of Johnson & Johnson's Family of Companies (Janssen Deliver) is recruiting for a Strategic Program Manager. Position will be based close to a J&J business hub in the Asia-Pacific region.
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Strategic Program Management - APAC, the position will be accountable for leading, and driving key foundational and transformational programs within Janssen Deliver, that are linked to the Janssen Supply Chain business priorities, with the goal of enhancing operational capabilities, improving partner engagement strategies, driving end-to-end Supply Chain integration, and enabling our customer promise.
This role will handle a strategic portfolio of key initiatives supporting the Janssen Deliver business cascade and priority programs. These programs include but are not limited to: New Item Introductions and Capabilities (including gene therapies and other innovative modalities in the therapeutic areas we serve), Acquisitions and Divestitures, Product Strategy Roadmaps, and Change Controls.
The total portfolio will consist of programs that support over $5B in regional sales annually and, on average across a five-year functional strategy, including over $1.4MM in capital and $6MM in operational investments in support of identified strategic benefits and deliver-enabled value.
This position will partner with regional deliver team members, program sponsors, and other Program Managers, to define and complete programs and will be accountable for all identified deliverables and long-term business objectives for the program(s) under their responsibility.
- Led and partner with project sponsors, project managers, and cross-functional teams to plan, scope and identify requirements and resources for existing and new initiatives.
- Coordinate program and project team members to achieve desired outcomes
- Identify short and long-range investment requirements for key programs
- Recognize risk and opportunities within programs being led
- Handle program interdependencies
- Lead governance, communication, and reporting across project partners and sponsors
- Identify industry-leading practices and perform external benchmarking as required
- Support the intake processes across workstreams for their respective region and/or global process
- Drive existing priorities, projects, and status
- Orchestrate corresponding program/project budgets and resources
**Qualifications**:
- A Bachelor's degree is required. An advanced degree is preferred
- A minimum of 10 years of related Supply Chain experience is required
- Strong background / experience in E2E Supply Chain program and project management is required
- Experience in 2 or more relevant core areas within Deliver is preferred: Customer Service, Logistics, Transportation, Warehousing, Global Trade Compliance, Channel Management
- Experience leading global programs is preferred
- Relevant mix of global, regional, cross-sector / cross-industry experience is preferred
- Experience with running complex programs and/or projects with demonstrated successful delivery is preferred
- LEAN and/or Six Sigma Certifications is preferred
- Experience defining and deploying global strategies and practices is preferred
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills, excellent communication and presentation skills at all levels of the organization are required
- Demonstrated interdependent collaboration is required
- Ability to drive process improvement and value creation across the business is required
- Ability to travel a minimum of 20-25% is required
