About the role

Reporting to the Senior Manager Global Benefits, the APAC Benefits Analyst will be crucial in managing and administering colleague benefits programs across the Asia Pacific region. They will support benefits renewals, implementation, vendor management, cost analysis, and payroll data preparation. They will use Data & Analytics as well as Business and HR insight to help inform our benefits strategy and collaborate across HR and the business to implement change successfully.

They will be responsible for:
Benefits Administration
- Support the Benefits Manager during the annual benefits renewal process for all APAC countries
- Benefits operations including updating of census data as well as enrolment and termination of employees in benefits programs, not excluding pension
- Submission of government paid leave reimbursement or other type of training related subsidies that only can be done locally
- Implement new benefits programs and changes to existing plans
- Ensure compliance with local regulations and company policies, including updating of internal policies and procedures
- Prepare and process benefits-related invoices and purchase orders
- Handle legal paperwork associated with benefits programs
- Support the due diligence risk management procedures for all vendor relationships
- Maintain and update benefits renewal calendar, procedures manual and country benefit summaries within the region

Stakeholder Management
- Serve as the primary point of contact for benefits vendors within APAC
- Negotiate contracts and manage relationships with insurance providers and other benefits partners
- Conduct regular performance reviews of vendors and recommend improvements
- Serve as SME for any benefits including Shareplan related questions for internal and external stakeholders

Financial / Payroll Management
- Perform cost analysis of benefits programs
- Identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining competitive benefits packages
- Prepare monthly benefits payroll data for each country in the region for accurate processing
- Directors reporting, including preparation of annual report statement of share related remuneration

Benefits Systems, Reporting and Analysis
- Generate regular reports on benefits utilization, costs, and trends
- Analyse data to provide insights for decision-making and strategy development
- Prepare presentations for management on benefits-related topics
- Own the benefits portals and vendor systems within the region

Colleague Support
- Support the resolution of colleague Workday Help queries as the specialist on benefits programmes in the region
- Develop and maintain benefits communication materials
- Assist with benefits-related colleague education and engagement initiatives

Skills and Experience
- 3-5 years of experience in administration/coordination, project management and delivery of colleague benefits, preferably in financial services or investment management
- Knowledge of one local APAC language (Mandarin, Malay or Thai)
- Keep abreast of statutory and market changes within the APAC benefits sphere
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and strong delivery focus
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work with confidential information with discretion.
- Adaptable and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Customer-service-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving
