**Job Description Summary**: We're seeking an Operations Intern to assist in day-to-day operations, technical instruction writing, and process improvement. This internship offers hands-on experience in operations management within a turbine repair context.

**Responsibilities**:
**Support Operations Management**: Assist in the day-to-day operations of the facility, including scheduling, resource allocation, and inventory management, to ensure efficient and smooth workflow.

**Support Technical Instruction Writing**: Assist in the development and refinement of technical instructions for gas turbine repairs, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and adherence to industry standards.

**Collaborate with Engineering Team**: Work closely with our engineering team to understand repair processes and procedures, gathering relevant information to inform technical instruction writing.

**Document Management**: Organize and maintain a repository of technical documents, ensuring accessibility and version control for all relevant stakeholders.

**Process Improvement**: Identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency enhancement within the operations department, proposing actionable solutions to streamline workflows.

**Quality Assurance**: Assist in quality assurance activities, conducting inspections and audits to ensure compliance with established standards and procedures.

**Data Analysis**: Collect and analyze operational data to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement, providing insights to inform decision-making processes.

**Cross-Functional Collaboration**: Collaborate with various departments, including engineering, production, and quality assurance, to support ongoing projects and initiatives.

**Safety Compliance**: Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines, promoting a culture of safety within the facility and actively contributing to the maintenance of a safe working environment.

**Qualifications**:

- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Operations Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong technical aptitude and proficiency in interpreting technical documentation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Word and Excel.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Prior internship or relevant work experience is a plus, but not required.
- Passion for learning and a proactive attitude towards professional development.
