Sales, Distribution and Business Development plays a vital role in understanding and meeting customer needs by offering the right solutions through the right channels to the right customer segments. The team is responsible for implementing distribution strategy, driving the delivery of market leading personal banking customer experiences and thereby maximising customer satisfaction.

We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a** Senior Asia Cards Product Manager, Partnerships.**

**Principal Responsibilities**
- Key part of HSBC’s Wealth and Personal Banking (WPB) strategy is to leverage our balance sheet by further developing our lending capabilities. In Asia HSBC WPB is planning a new approach to improve the unsecured lending capabilities and run the business based on a pan Asia operating model - Asia Cards. This new approach, with strong senior management support, will enable HSBC WPB to take advantage of and participate fruitfully in the significant growth dividends of the region
- The role holder will be responsible for developing and managing regional partnerships that support the Asia Cards
- The jobholder will also be responsible for business development. Will need to understand customer challenges and identify and evaluate partnership opportunities to address customer pain points. Build and manage partnerships ecosystems, roadmap and pipeline in line with the Global Retail Banking Partnerships Strategy
- Lead the development and delivery of Cobrands opportunistically
- Negotiate and manage key strategic deals with third parties and partners while insuring the right product development and management frameworks for this particular set of customers are in place. Drive partner selection process for the Business, and execute contracts, due diligence and negotiate commercials
- Drive end to end execution of partnership projects and be the key contact for Asia cards country managers for partnerships

Requirements

**Requirements**:

- Consumer financial services industry experience and strong understanding of unsecured asset businesses
- Strong experience of market leading card capability
- Experience of working with multi-channel sales programs
- Experience of building business through digital channels
- Insights on competitive and innovation landscape in unsecured lending in Asia
- Retail banking experience, familiarity with large bank environment
- Strategic leadership, analytical and problem solving skills
- Entrepreneurial mind-set and clear results orientation to transform the business
