The Opportunity
The Asia Insights & Analytics Manager will be pivotal in helping develop marketing strategies for the assigned brands of Optimum Nutrition and BSN: including marketing and brand oversight, product development and innovation, annual brand planning, unlocking strong consumer insights and supporting the Asia Marketing Director in driving deeper consumer centricity.
- Assist in developing strategies at a regional level to support commercial team.
- Contribute to insight generation and delivery via bespoke consumer insight/ research studies and competitive intelligence analysis across all GPN brands for the Asia region with strong management and interpretation of results.
- Be the voice of the consumer, continuously bringing in deeper and richer understanding of consumer segments/ profiles - to aid with communications, product development and go-to-market plans.
- Leading business intelligence for Asia, monitoring markets, segments, products, consumers and competitors to inform channel/ brand/ country strategies and business planning.
- Development of the annual business plans, incorporating strong local insights in a succinct and relevant manner to shape the situational assessment, brand strategy and brand objectives.
- Develop a strong understanding of business performance, identification of areas for growth through RGM, Innovation, Pricing, Distribution, Promotions, Channel Mix etc.
- Define brand KPIs: measurement and evaluation, target setting. Propose and implement corrective actions where applicable.
- Evaluate the in-market success for brand campaigns for key brands focusing on consumer appeal, recall and behaviour change.
- Support the ecommerce team with insight generation and competitor tracking, on a monthly basis, leveraging data available.
- Category and consumer knowledge and analysis used for business decisions including market brand entry, innovation launches, etc.
The Skills you will bring to the team
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a FMCG consumer insight and analytics role
- Must be passionate about the sporting industry and fitness, wellness and health
- Strategic planning and analytical skills with the ability to feedback in a clear and compelling fashion
- A mix of qualitative and quantitative research skills and expertise
- Ability to understand and convert consumer, category, competitor and channel/customer insights into brand strategy and plans.
