Paws N’ Claws is a newly established Fear-Free concept clinic whom is looking for experienced and dedicated administrative assistant to expand our cozy family.

Led by Fear-Free certified Dr Esther Lam, we are all Fear-Free trained and guided. We pride ourselves in providing excellent veterinary care with desirous working environment, touching the lives of both our patients and clients.

We are a small animal veterinary clinic, seeing mostly dog and cat patients, and occasionally some rabbits, guinea pigs and hamsters.
- Provide direct administrative assistance to Paws N Claws Veterinary Surgery by organising monthly schedule, budgeting, employee and client scheduling, marketing.
- Provide administrative support to the clinic to prepare documents and coordinate special projects and serve as resource person for information of Veterinary policies to PNC employees.
- Maintain PNC protocols by ensuring updates and availability to those who need them.
- Create, update and distribute forms as needed throughout the PNC. Prepare letters to clients regarding service-related issues/termination-client communication.
- Maintain updated forms for price increases and other tracking.
- Prepare miscellaneous and medication purchase requests for the PNC.
- Oversee and manage social media accounts, client mailings, clinic website, advertising and community involvement and assist in any other marketing activities.
- Acquiring, contracting, scheduling, and supervision of all third-parties services such as cleaning, suppling, maintenance, servicing, and disposal contractors.
- Business Development including ensuring business growth and profitability of the practice

Qualifications:

- Some knowledge of bookkeeping process accounts payable, and financial management related software
- Strong organizational skills, resourceful, and proactive.
- Ability to implement standard office procedures and able to operate office equipment as needed.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Previous successful experience in an office environment, knowledge of veterinary office operations are helpful, but not required.
- Ability to effectively interact with the business industry and staff members
- The requirement is to maintain confidentiality and maintain a professional demeanor.
