Production Supervisor

1) To supervise the operators in performing the blending of chemicals based on our customers’ requirement. Ensure that production of the chemicals are on schedule and to manage the blending & storage tank facilities at the blending site to ensure minimum downtime, minimize wastages and safety compliance.
2) To supervise and schedule the upkeep of the warehouse and blending facilities to ensure it is tidy and well maintained so that it does not create any safety hazard for those who work in the blending plant.
3) Ensure proper housekeeping and equipment cleaning and maintenance so that the plant is in good working conditions and uptime and to enable us to provide the blending services to our customers and maximize throughput.
4) Support the operation & sales team on the pumping services, technical aspect and follow up with customers on their delivery orders & schedule and ensure customer satisfaction via OTIF fulfilment.
5) Manage the plant admin in terms of check and balance on operating procedures and safety compliance and other related production duties like sample retention records, quality testing of finished goods, checks and assurance for outgoing finished goods.
**Related Duties/ Responsibilities
1) Managing and supervising the raw material, packaging material and production of the various chemicals based on customers’ demand and job sheet from sales office.
2) Ensure labels are correct and properly fixed on the packaging for all outgoing goods when preparing the cargoes for delivery to customers. Ensure cargoes are properly packed and secured and are in good clean conditions before dispatching.
3) Supervise the upkeep of the blending sites to ensure tidiness and proper compliance on safety and health and environment
**Requirements**:
- Diploma/Degree with 3 years’ experience in production role
- 5 - 10 year experience in chemical industry will be an advantage
- Safety and Operational knowledge
- Safety, blending procedures and knowledge
- Physically strong, mature and responsible
- Good interpersonal skill, able to manage the operators. Hardworking and reliable
