**The opportunity**
As a Contracts Manager, you will leverage your expertise in contract management, negotiation, and legal compliance to ensure our contracts are executed flawlessly. Your regional knowledge will enable you to navigate the diverse business practices and legal landscapes of the region, fostering strong relationships with stakeholders and suppliers.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts with customers, vendors, and other stakeholders in the Asia region;
- Review and analyse agreements and tender documents for legal compliance and risk management purposes;
- Work with various business units in the Asia region to ensure compliance with or acceptance of stated terms and conditions;
- Ensure contracts are executed in a timely manner and in accordance with company policies and legal requirements;
- Manage and maintain contract templates, including updates and revisions;
- Provide guidance and advice to internal stakeholders in the Asia region on contract-related issues;
- Address queries from business units relating to legal agreements and compliance matters;
- Coordinate with legal counsel and other stakeholders in the Asia region to resolve contract-related disputes;
- Participate in cross-functional teams to support business initiatives in the Asia region; and
- Stay up-to-date with local laws and regulations that impact contracts in the Asia region.

**To be successful in this role, you must possess a combination of legal knowledge, regional expertise, relationship-building skills, and cultural awareness. The right person must be capable of navigating complexities of contract management in diverse and dynamic region like ASIA.**
**Experience required**:
- Bachelors degree in law, business, procurement, compliance or other related discipline;
- Experience in contract review, negotiation, administration and management of a variety of contracts, preferably in a law firm or in-house legal department;
- Strong understanding of contract law and legal terminology in the Asia region;
- Knowledge of corporate governance and company secretarial responsibilities;
- Highly skilled in interpreting legal documentation;
- Effective analytical, organisational and time management capabilities;
- Attention to detail;
- Excellent communication skills (written & oral);
- Strong negotiation and influencing skills;
- Very good computer skills
**Desirable**
- Regional experience in Asia;.
- Experience in compiling tender responses in a medical field
