**What the role is**
- HR Services Centre (HRSC) is a new shared services set-up in the Ministry HQ that aspires to provide quality HR services for the workforce of MHA. We aim to innovate to deliver HR services professionally and with a heart, in partnership with Home Team Agencies and PSD.
There are six branches in HRSC. This post is under the Payment and Records Branch which manages leave and staff records as well as the processing of scheme payments for MHA officers.

**What you will be working on**
- The jobholder will be a part of the Payment Management team that provides centralised processing of scheme payments (includes both annual/monthly payments and deductions) for MHA officers across different schemes of service. He/she will need to ensure that the payments are processed on time and accurately in accordance with prevailing guidelines and directives.
PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES
The jobholder’s principle accountabilities include:
a. Process the various payments under the team's scope in a timely and accurate manner. This includes conducting verification checks to confirm officers’ eligibility for the payments, working with stakeholders to ensure timely execution of the payment activities and post payment checks to ensure accuracy of the payouts.
b. Assists in the system preparatory work for the various payments such as ensuring accuracy of the HR data in the HR & Payroll system and working with the technical team to rectify data errors or issues encountered.
c. Rectify any payment errors uncovered during post payment checks including managing recovery or top-ups.
d. Provide inputs and suggestions to streamline payment processes and procedures.
e. Manage queries from officers and other stakeholders on payment matters in a timely and professional manner.

**What we are looking for**
- The jobholder should have the following pre-requisites and skills:
a. Proficient in MS Office especially Excel;
b. Good communication and writing skills;
c. Meticulous with good analytical and problem-solving skills;
d. Ability to multi-task and work under extreme pressure with tight deadlines
e. Knowledge in SAP or relevant experience in remuneration matters would be an added advantage;
f. Good team player who is also able to work well independently
g. iHRP preferred
