**Regional Marketing Manager, South-east Asia**
**Responsibilities**:
**Assist in Strategy Formulation**:
- Research and recommend marketing initiatives and programs that align with corporate strategy and support pipeline and revenue goals for the Business Communication Business Unit within the Region.
- Identify and propose business building and market share enhancement ideas and promotional initiatives
- Utilize information obtained from the Sales department as well as Market data and suggest implications for Marketing strategy
- Conduct analysis to better understand the current business value chain as well as potential areas for growth and efficiency expansion and propose value opportunities and channels/routes to market
**Market Research and Analysis & Competition Tracking**:
- Closely monitor and analyze Business Communication Business Unit sales volumes, market share trends and competitive activity in the region, using BI & CRM
- Proactively scan the environment and acquire competitor and market information to help develop strategies for growth
- Competition Benchmarking & tracking - Gather data on competitors and analyze their “go to market” strategy.
- Keep abreast of all information like business drivers, requirements, key concerns and risks impacting the organization’s business
- Work closely with internal sales teams to garner feedback and evolve programs to ensure sales alignment
**Market Development**:
- Assist in preparing, presenting, executing and analyze marketing (including COOP/MDF, where applicable) plans with our customers.
- Study the market and propose initiatives (e.g. fairs, events, campaigns ) to be undertaken for increasing sales in this segment, based on KPI’s (e.g. leads)
- Identify and propose initiatives for creating brand awareness through marketing initiatives.
- Assist in executing and analyzing these initiatives in your region
**New Business Development**:
- Integrate with Business Group Heads and Sales team in order to understand new product developments and understand requirements from a marketing perspective
**Event/trade Show Management**:
- Act as a point of contact and assist with project management duties (including logistics and milestone management) with the design of event spaces as requested in conjunction with Manager of Regional Marketing and Regional Marketing Manager APAC and the associated Business Communication Business Unit for lead fairs and high profile dealer/end user engagements.
- Assist in booth layout, color and material treatments and recommend design concepts to ensure corporate design guidelines are met
- Primary on-site coordinator
**Sales Support**:
- Work closely with the Sales department in understanding customer requirements and behavior
- Support sales pitches through researching specific client or target related information
- Assist in proposing and designing marketing initiatives to augment sales across regions
**Marketing & Initiatives Implementation**:
- Effectively establish channel strategies along with implementing any marketing activities and initiatives in various regions
- Coordinate with sales team for implementation of marketing initiatives
- Recommend how to improve procedures to link entire marketing activities with sales team activities
**Alliances for Marketing Initiatives**:
- Identify and propose external agencies/strategic partners for marketing initiatives
**Vendor Management and Relations**:
- Assist in coordinating with external vendors such as marketing agencies, design/build firms, etc. and maintain relationships
- Use the approved partners per continent
**Budget & Budget Tracking**:
- Assist in creating a detailed marketing budget for various events conducted by the marketing department
- Assist in tracking planned budget versus actual expenses (BI) incurred
- Coordinate a budget forecast with the local finance teams in the correct cost centers
- Assist in managing the budget in a responsible manner
**Invoices and Collections**:
- Check the invoices received and coordinated with Finance and Accounting teams for timely payment
- Add the cost center, account and a proper description of the cost
**Your profile**
- Post Graduate Diploma or Degree in Business Management/Marketing/Public Relations/Advertising
- 3+ years related Trade Marketing experience in marketi
