Impart’s Mental Health Care arm champions advocacy that issues forth in action. Youths facing psychological or life crises receive accessible support, with platforms created to amplify their experiences.
A detailed list of responsibilities are as follows:
**Client-Facing**
- Conduct triage assessment, which determines case uptake or rejection (external referral)
- Track progress and trajectories for all cases under MHC (~60-80 at any time point)
- Redirect caseworkers to relevant resources on the ground when certain needs arise or change
- In consideration of caseworkers’ and volunteers’ preliminary recommendations, provide directions for intervention plan
- Support caseworkers and volunteers in responding to stakeholders effectively and professionally
- Provide clinical supervision where necessary
- Provide operational and clinical support to the caseworkers and volunteers in post-crisis
- Determine client capacity for each programme, and work through programme transitions and youth-worker matching
- Ensure that Programme Teams and Peer Supervisors have completed due processes (including programme brief, coordination for monthly supervision, chat creation, handover brief etc.) for each batch of programmes to run successfully
- Support Programme Team if they have any clinical, operational or crisis situationsthat they are unable to navigate
**Operations**
- Facilitate thinking and encourage critical thinking and problem solving in staff and volunteers
- Provide constructive feedback to staff and volunteers, as well as track performance
- Redirect staff and volunteers to relevant resources, where necessary (e.g., therapy,clinical supervision, job coaching)
- Supervise staff movement by making sure they are keeping up with attendance, work hours, scheduled meetings
- Upskill volunteers and staff, or expose them to different parts of the work for learning
