**Responsibilities**:

- Develop, maintain, and optimize SQL and PL/SQL queries and stored procedures for complex data manipulation and reporting needs.
- Design and implement data pipelines and ETL workflows for data integration and transformation using Hadoop or other big data platforms.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure data models and ETL processes align with business requirements.
- Build and maintain financial risk models using platforms like Moody’s or Fermat to support risk assessment and regulatory compliance.
- Utilize Control-M for automating and scheduling data workflows, monitoring job execution, and handling failures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, business analysts, and financial engineers, to deliver high-performance solutions.
- Implement financial calculations and risk metrics using Ray and Rco platforms.
- Ensure data quality and consistency in ETL processes and maintain data governance best practices.
- Support the full software development lifecycle using ALM tools to track and manage development tasks, testing, and deployment.
- Perform troubleshooting and debugging for complex systems, and resolve issues related to performance, data quality, or integration failures.
- Ensure adherence to regulatory compliance in all financial data processes and systems.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, or related fields (or equivalent experience).
- Strong expertise in SQL and PL/SQL for advanced data queries, database design, and stored procedures.
- Hands-on experience with ETL processes and Hadoop for managing and transforming large datasets.
- Experience with financial risk software such as Moody’s, Fermat, Ray, or Rco.
- Knowledge of job scheduling and automation tools, particularly Control-M.
- Experience working in ALM (Application Lifecycle Management) environments to track software development tasks and ensure compliance with project timelines.
- Strong understanding of financial risk management, data governance, and compliance frameworks.
- Ability to design scalable, high-performance data pipelines and troubleshoot performance bottlenecks.
- Familiarity with big data ecosystems, including HDFS, MapReduce, and Spark.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools and techniques.
- Experience with cloud platforms for data integration and big data processing.
- Understanding of risk calculation methodologies in financial services.
- Knowledge of data security best practices and regulatory requirements (e.g., Basel, IFRS).
