Duties
The General Manager, SEA is based in Singapore.
Full profit and loss responsibility in Southeast Asia Lead and develop organization capabilities to fulfill corporate objectives on financial performance, talent development & retention, risk management and customer experiences. Define, develop and execute short
- and long-term business strategies to sustain continuous growth in responsible market. The General Manager, SEA is expected to meet or exceed revenue goals by executing sales initiatives in alignment with regional marketing strategy and will be responsible for leading gross profit and operating margins in the region. Ensure quality of work and compliance of all local government laws & regulations. Enhance effective communication within operations team and cross functional group to achieve company goals. Manage effective sales forecast, sales funnel management Allocate resource and obtain appropriate resources to meet company’s business objective & customer requirements. Responsible for all products segments in the Beckman Coulter Life Sciences portfolio. Manage price list and appropriate discount authorization and be accountable for standard margin contributions. Set relevant targets/quotas with distributors and continually monitors performance throughout the year.
**Requirements**:
Education - At least Bachelor’s degree in life sciences or equivalent in other Science Disciplines
**Experience**:
- At least 15 years of advancing experiences in sales & marketing experience. Minimum 10 years of dealer management, sales management position. Preferable with prior work experience in life sciences sectors. Ideally full understanding and expertise of DBS (Danaher Business System)
- Experience in life sciences environment with desired consistent track record establishing relationships with dealers and channel partners
- Proficient with business software (MS office, SFDC, MS Excel advance/Power BI at a minimum)
Required Skill - Ability to make business decisions on product, pricing, margin expenses etc. Knowledge in the company’s line of products is an asset. Capable of monitoring competitors and identifying business threats and opportunities and develop a business plan to address them. Strong communication skill in English is essential. Ability to develop a sales team and translate market strategy into an executable sales plan. Show leadership skills: strong leadership style that establish a team environment to achieve results. Strong business acumen. High motivation and energy trend. High integrity and honesty. Creative and innovate, but detailed orientated. Self-starter and independent thinker that is team focused
Travel - Ability to travel up to 50% regional and internationally to attend training and hold business meeting.
