**About this role**:
The Assistant Manager will support the Vice President Finance and the Head, Finance on financial reporting and operational finance matters within the Constellar Group of companies. These include responsibilities over month-end closing, consolidation, accounts receivable and payroll accounting, tax reporting, statistics, internal controls, financial and statutory reporting, finance processes and systems. The Assistant Manager is also responsible for ad-hoc financial reporting tasks as assigned by the Finance Lead.

**Financial reporting and taxation**
- General ledger accounting and timely recording of accounting entries for monthly, quarterly and year-end financial reporting in accordance with SFRS(I)
- Preparation of consolidation reports and assisting the Head, Finance with business combinations
- Facilitate compliance with regulatory requirements
- Manage the external land internal audits of the company during audit periods
- Preparation of the annual tax returns for companies within the Group and resolution of tax queries
- Preparation of quarterly GST filings for the Group and compliance with GST policies

**Operational finance**
- Responsible for accounts receivable management, and intercompany billing
- Working with the Human Resource team on payroll accounting matters
- Maintenance of fixed asset schedules for companies within the Group

**Finance systems**
- Finance system testing and implementation works to support the Venues and Events businesses
- Automation projects and process improvement works
- Other ad-hoc projects as directed by the reporting leads

**To help you succeed in this role, you should have**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy or ACCA with a minimum 5 years‘ experience in audit or accounting in a medium to large Singapore organisation, with strong working knowledge of SFRS(I) reporting
- Self-motivated, meticulous, hands-on, adaptable and willingness to learn
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Proficiency with the Microsoft 365 suite is required. Experience with SAP or equivalent ERP systems is an additional advantage
