Officer, Operations Analyst, Equity Trade Support

**Your background**
- Degree qualification is essential. Knowledge of financial markets with experience in Trade Support for equities derivative/swaps/cash products.
- Possesses understanding of equities trading and end to end operational flows.
- Ability to work in a pressurized, high volume, deadline-driven environment while maintaining operational excellence.
- Control focused with a good understanding of risk, P&L and the impact of errors.
- Able to envisage front-to-back flows with emphasis on ascertaining financial/regulatory impact
- Able to initiate solutions, take ownership and drive issue remediation.
- Experience in delivering process improvement and product enhancement.
- Excellent communication skills at all levels
- Proficiency in MS Product Suite i.e., Excel, Word
- Bloomberg, Reuters, and corporate action processing knowledge preferable
- VBA & SQL programming skills preferable.

**What you can expect**

APAC Equities Trade Control is responsible for managing the trade capture, reconciliations, lifecycle management, corporate actions and client servicing for the ESSL, ECS and ESS businesses. The products covered are listed and OTC products in equity derivatives across all APAC markets. This position requires daily liaison with many different groups across the organization

**What you will do**
- Provide consistently stellar operational support for derivative/swaps/cash products.
- Support the Sales and Trading Desks by investigating, resolving issues and enquiries related to bookings, breaks etc.
- Utilize critical thinking/problem solving skills to provide timely resolutions to client issues and breaks.
- Work closely with wide range of stakeholders both within operations and outside of operations such as compliance, credit, business.
- Exhibit proactivity to improve process and enhance controls to mitigate operational risk to the firm
- Strong individual contributor but must be an active team player to achieve collective goals.
- Manage ad-hoc projects and liaise with both internal/external counterparts in different regions.
