Job Description

Rockwell Automation is hiring

We are looking for an Immigration Specialist to be based in our Singapore office.

You will be responsible for all immigration-related matters for the Singapore operations, ensuring compliance, efficiency, quality, governance, and control. You will be the single contact between our company and the immigration vendors, building and maintaining relationships with key internal stakeholders. This is a hybrid role and will report to the Global Mobility Manager.

Essential Functions:

- Communicate, answer questions, and resolve escalated issues related to immigration matters.
- Provide guidance and direction on immigration positions and approaches, ensuring prompt solutions.
- Liaise between employees, external immigration legal counsel, and key internal stakeholders on all immigration matters.
- Maintain information for tracking and reporting purposes.
- Audit billing information to ensure accuracy; process vendor invoices related to immigration.
- Use experience to improve processes and foster innovation.
- Identify and pursue programs that inspire ongoing enhancement, employee satisfaction, and the best service.
- Administer mobility policies to achieve our goals while enforcing policy guidelines.

Functional Expertise:

- Maintain latest knowledge of laws, regulations, and procedures for processing immigration cases and educate key stakeholders.
- Identify and advise on issues related to immigration compliance irregularities
- Maintain internal guidelines, policies, and procedures related to immigration to assist key stakeholders with the process.
- Understand international tax laws related to international relocation.

The Essentials - You Will Have:

- Bachelor's degree in a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
- At least 3 years' of immigration experience
- Working knowledge of inbound Singapore immigration.
- Experience managing data, creating and analysing reports.

The Preferred - You Might Also Have:

- Experience working in a manufacturing company or similar industry
