Damit unsere Services sicher und stabil laufen, benötigen wir eine topmoderne und zuverlässige Infrastruktur. Diese betreiben wir in der Schweiz und selbst. Als Ingenieur in unserem System Engineering & Operations Team stellst du sicher, dass unsere Kunden heute und morgen auf die beste Infrastruktur der Branche zählen können.

**Das gehört zu den Engineering Aufgaben**:

- Pflege, Erneuerung und Weiterentwicklung unserer Infrastruktur wie den Web-, DB- oder Mailclustern, unseren verteilten Storagesystemen, dem Netzwerk und den vielen weiteren Komponenten
- Planung, Entwicklung und Integration von neuen Diensten und Technologien von der Konzeption über den Launch bis zum Betrieb
- Stetige Gewährleistung der Sicherheit inkl. der Beurteilung und Reaktion auf Bedrohungen, Sicherheitslücken oder -Vorfälle
- Software
- und Systempflege vom Konfigurationsmanagement, über den Rollout bis hin zur Reaktion auf Fehler, Debugging und Anpassen der (meist) eingesetzten Open Source Software
- Pflege und Weiterentwicklung unseres umfassenden Monitorings und der Dokumentation

**Das bringst du mit**:

- Abgeschlossenes Studium der Informatik FH oder engagierter und versierter self-made Unix-Techie
- Fundiertes Know How im Bereich Unix und Internet
- Grosse Neugier, Freude an der Technik und eine Leidenschaft Dinge zu verstehen
- Vertieftes Verständnis der Netzwerkprotokolle TCP/IP und den gängigen Applikationsprotokollen wie SMTP, IMAP, HTTP, TLS etc.
- Erfahrungen im Umgang mit Shells und Skriptsprachen
- Gutes Abstraktionsvermögen sowie analytisches, unabhängiges und kritisches Denken mit einem Flair für saubere Konzepte
- Grosses Verantwortungsbewusstsein und selbstständige, Eigeninitiative Arbeitsweise
- Alltagssichere schriftliche und mündliche Kommunikation in Deutsch sowie gute Englischkenntnisse
