**Responsibilities**:
Strategy and Planning
- Manage and rollout of server Operating System, security patches, VAPT remediation and hardening
- Provision of system resources to cater for business growth
- Primary contact point for Solaris and additional responsibility in AIX / Linux

Business Performance and Management
- Install and maintain UNIX Operating System on physical, virtual / cloud environments
- Manage SAN storage infrastructure
- Configure and manage cloud resources (AWS)
- Ensure compliance with IT security standards, policies and procedures.
- Undertake preventive maintanance and monitoring.
- Perform system and user adminstrative tasks.
- Performs regular housekeeping and maintenance activities of the infrastructure.
- Monitor systems availability, performance and resource capacity.
- Maintain and develop technical documentation and standard operational procedures.
- Automate operational tasks to improve efficiency using Ansible Tower.
- Handle incidents and service requests.
- Renew and install of SSL certficates used for hardware management interface or other appliance under UNIX team.

People Management
- Work with respective internal IT teams to support BAU activities
- Work closely with other IT team members to troublshoot system related issues.
- Liaise with vendor for support and project delivery.

Compliance
- Protect organization's value by keeping information confidential.
- Adhere to both Incident and Change Management policy.
- Adhere to Group Procedure and Policies
- Adhere to regulatory requirements and policies.

Automation
- Ability to automate repetitive tasks
- Ansible Automation

**Qualifications**:

- Recognised degree in Computer Science/ Information Systems
- Relevant Professional Certification will be preferred
- Minimum 5 years of working experience in system administration
- Solaris system administrator skills required. AIX / Linux skills are added advantage
- Ability to troubleshoot problems from the Application tier, through the Operating System and Network tiers.
- Ability to automate UNIX/Linux OS for administrative tasks using Ansible
- Ablity to handle on premesis SAN storage infrastructure
- Vendor management skill to drive vendor in delivering solution to the technical issue encountered
- Effective interpersonal and oral communication skills
- Work effectively in a team environment
